It is common practice to name a font after a city or place. The first official world championship contract bridge match was held in Bermuda in 1950, and the Bermuda Bowl, the trophy for victory, remains the emblem of the world championship.

The Bermuda font family includes 12 card and bridge fonts in both TrueType and PostScript formats and an excellent 8 page User’s Guide. Each of the 10 card fonts includes all 52 cards, 4 card backs, a blank card, a joker, a card with a large club, a card with a large spade, a card with a large heart and a card with a large diamond. The two bridge fonts can create any bridge diagram which can include the declarer and dummy. Here are samples of each of the font in the Bermuda family.
