Chess piece color vs blank quare color

I want to ask a question about the alpine chess fonts before i think of acquiring them.
in fact i downloaded many chess fonts, and when i try to make a diagram i am faced with a major problem.
in fact i can't customize the background color (the square color without affecting the color of the pieces themselves) pieces are like a letter, the clor affects evrything : for example i can't change the white color of the white squares without changing the color of the white pieces themselves.
i want to separate the pieces. will that be possible. |
